Ruth Munyao-Musembi is a highly accomplished Strategic Communication and People Development expert, Change Communication Practitioner & Scholar, and Certified Coach with over 20 years of experience shaping transformative communication and culture strategies across the public, private, and development sectors. Passionate about driving positive change through effective communication, Ruth has consistently partnered with CEOs, senior executives, government leaders, and international development organizations to deliver impact at scale.

Known for her insightful facilitation, evidence-based communication strategies, and people centered leadership development, Ruth remains committed to partnering with mission-driven organizations to unlock growth, trust, and impact.

Currently serving as Associate Managing Partner at Burson Global (formerly Hill & Knowlton Strategies), Ruth leads on capacity building, stakeholder engagement, internal communication, leadership coaching, and culture change. Her work spans crisis and change communication, ESG and sustainability communication, corporate training, and public affairs advisory. She has developed and delivered high-impact training and coaching programs to top leadership teams in organizations such as Stanbic Bank, Lake Turkana Wind Power, GiveDirectly, and World Vision.

Ruth holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Daystar University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Change Management Communication at the same institution, deepening her thought leadership in organizational transformation and strategic influence.

Ruth is a Fellow of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) and a recipient of the PRSK Golden Honors/Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her outstanding contribution to the profession. She is also a Certified Coach with extensive experience in executive and team coaching, supporting leaders and organizations to align communication, culture, and performance.
